The highly anticipated romantic-comedy series “Doctor Slump” started today. The series, starring Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye, will be on screens every Saturday and Sunday as of January 27.

The series, directed by director Oh Hyun Jong, known for his TV series “Find Me in Your Memory” and “The One and Only”, was written by “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” screenwriter Baek Sun Woo.

“Doctor Slump” is a romantic-comedy drama that tells the stories of doctors in crisis. While trying to save lives, doctors try to cope with the problems in their own lives. In the drama, Park Hyung Sik plays the character of Yeo Jung Woo, a star plastic surgeon who falls into the biggest meltdown of his life. In the series, Park Shin Hye plays Nam Ha Neul, an anesthesiologist who suffers from burnout syndrome. He was known as a genius from an early age and spent his whole life working. Even when he becomes an adult, he turns into someone who knows nothing but work. As a workaholic, he does not enjoy his life. However, one day he looks back at his life and suddenly decides to change.

Yoon Park plays plastic surgeon Bin Dae Young, who is both assertive and pathetic. She understands the successful Yeo Jung Woo, who attends the same university as him, better than anyone else. Although there is a rivalry between them and an arrogant personality, She is loved because she shows both her sincere and cunning personality.

In the drama, Gong Sung Ha plays Lee Hong Ran, Nam Ha Neul’s best friend and an OB/GYN (obstetrics and gynecology) anesthesiologist who has been with Nam Ha Neul since their college days until now.
